Warranty Policy

At Wearparts Tracks, Pads, & G.E.T., we stand behind the durability of our products. Our Compact Track Loader (CTL) rubber tracks and dump carrier rubber tracks—regardless of width—come with a 12-month limited warranty. Our excavator rubber tracks (450 mm wide and under) include an 18-month limited warranty.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Rubber tracks from Wearparts Tracks, Pads, & G.E.T. are warranted against defects in materials and manufacturing.

PREMATURE WEAR

Wearparts rubber tracks are protected against premature wear for up to 18 months from the date of purchase. Wear will be assessed in millimeter measurements. This coverage excludes any wear resulting from misuse or abuse, and all claims are subject to inspection and approval.

JOINT & STEEL CORD FAILURE

Tracks are also covered for 18 months against joint and internal steel cord failure. Claims may be denied if proper track tensioning was not maintained or if the track was operated in conditions deemed abusive by our warranty inspection team.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • Any application, use, or installation deemed improper by Wearparts Tracks, Pads, & G.E.T.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, modification, accidents, overloading, or poor machine condition or adjustment
  • Cosmetic issues such as minor surface cracks or splits that do not affect performance or significantly reduce track life
  • Costs related to freight, labor, or business losses resulting from track issues

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

Tracks must be installed and tensioned in accordance with the OEM’s service manual. Improper installation or incorrect tensioning will void the warranty. Undercarriage components must also meet OEM specifications prior to installation. If a machine’s undercarriage has over 1,000 hours of use, components such as sprockets and idler wheels should be replaced to avoid excessive wear or joint failure.

Tracks should not be used in extreme-duty applications like demolition, scrap yards, or environments involving petroleum or corrosive materials. If switching from steel to rubber tracks, rock guards must be removed to prevent damage to the inner surface of the new tracks.

REPLACEMENT TRACK WARRANTY

If a replacement track is issued under warranty, the new track will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period unless the customer’s share of the cost is 50% or more. If the customer pays 75% or more of the replacement cost, the replacement track will carry a new, full-length warranty.

RUBBER TRACK MAINTENANCE

To ensure long-lasting performance:

  • Keep tracks free of petroleum-based products
  • Check and maintain proper tension every 20 to 50 operating hours
  • Always meet grade changes head-on to minimize stress on the track
  • Improper tension is the leading cause of premature failure—most often due to incorrect setup by the user

WARRANTY COST LIMITATIONS

Warranty coverage includes replacement track cost only. All shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. Wearparts Tracks, Pads, & G.E.T. is not liable for machine repair costs, lost time, or revenue due to a track issue. Our warranty obligation is limited strictly to the rubber track itself and does not extend to related equipment or property damage.
